How to fix a failed payment

Feedbucket uses Stripe to processed and manage your subscription. Stripe stores the card you added when creating the subscription and tries to automatically charge it each month, or year, depending on your billing cycle. If the automatic charge fails you might have to update your payment details. For example if the card has expired. We do perform a few automatic retries.

Fix your failed payment and/or update your payment method

  1. When you have a failed payment you will see a pop-up and an alert to the top of how to fix your payment. Click that button.
If you just want to update your payment method without having a failed payment you click on your avatar top right > Team Settings > Billing > Manage Subscription

  1. This will take you to Stripe hosted billing portal. If you have a failed payment you will see a button to your top saying Update payment method. Click that. If you don't have a failed payment and just want to add a new payment method click the button **Add payment method **under the heading of Payment methods. Here you can also remove other payment methods if you want to.

Add, remove, and update your payment methods

  1. When clicking on the **Update Payment Method **you will be taken to a screen like below. There you can see the payment methods that we have and which one failed. Select from a list of cards or click the **Add payment method **if you want to add a new method.
  2. After you have selected another payment method, most likely after adding a new one, you click the **Subscribe and pay **button to resolve the failed payment.
